Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Scheduler to join our team at Estrem & Co. in the Miami/West Palm Beach area.

The ideal candidate will have experience with scheduling high-rise projects and possess a strong understanding of construction scheduling principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules (MPS) and proposals to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure scheduling compliance.
  • Participate in scheduling meetings and perform additional assignments as required.
  • Review contracts for scheduling milestone dates and requirements.
  • Assist in developing MPS to align with contract requirements.
  • Support safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
  • Prepare and update MPS regularly, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in preparing scheduling narratives.
  • Document all scheduled meetings.
  • Prepare final as-built schedule updates and archive them.
  • Support schedule services for claims defense.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Relevant construction scheduling experience or equivalent combination of training and field experience.
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling software and SOPs.
  • Thorough knowledge of scheduling principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with CSI divisions and installation practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Capability to conduct scheduling training.
  • Effective time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
