This position is crucial in overseeing and optimizing the workflows and machinery within our Finishing operations, ensuring we uphold the utmost standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor essential process metrics and implement necessary adjustments
- Conduct statistical evaluations to pinpoint trends in processes and equipment, taking corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance machinery, workflows, safety protocols, and cost efficiency
- Initiate and oversee medium-scale projects
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC automated systems
- Ensure that departmental documentation is precise and comprehensive (SOPs, work instructions, engineering forms, etc.)
- Manage engineering requests throughout equipment and processes
- Actively participate in fulfilling departmental and site CORE obligations
- Provide on-the-job training for new and current staff as necessary
- Maintain a strong commitment to quality, thoroughness, and efficiency in all tasks
- Adhere to all quality, environmental, health, and safety protocols
- Comply with all other policies and procedures
- Take a hands-on approach to ensure machinery operates smoothly
- Support 24/7 operational activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Travel between facilities as required (up to 5%)
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, unless local laws/regulations dictate otherwise, along with less than 2 years of relevant experience; or in the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
- At least 6 months of experience with Excel and Minitab
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with robotic and PLC-controlled systems
- Experience in project management
- Skills in troubleshooting and modifying PLC logic
- Experience with SQL reporting

The salary range for this position is between 53,000 USD and 103,000 USD, reflecting a good faith estimate based on various factors, including role responsibilities, experience, and location.
