Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our business strategies by implementing innovative engineered systems, building a world-class lean enterprise, and developing, coordinating, organizing, and implementing sustainable manufacturing production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA, FMEA, 3P, 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables through a stage-gate process.
- Guide team members to achieve safety, quality, and delivery targets of the business.
- Serve as a voice of the customer for new design development.
- Develop clear work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Engineering or related technical STEM disciplines preferred.
- Effective communication, planning, decision-making, and team-building skills.
- Ability to lead and serve as a resource for issue containment, investigations, problem solving, statistical studies, and corrective action planning and execution.
- Hands-on aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes is desired.
- Integrated manufacturing experience in one or more of the following: machining, fabrication, welding, electrical systems, assembly processes, or HVAC or heavy industrial manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $100,000 / year
Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
