Job Summary

Tufts University seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Research Coordinator to join our team in Arts and Sciences Research Administration.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering a portfolio of broad and moderately complex sponsored awards, working closely with faculty members to develop sponsored proposals and manage post-award compliance activities. Additionally, the Senior Research Coordinator will serve as a resource to junior level research administration staff and assist school management with other assigned program operation functions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage sponsored proposals, ensuring timely submission and effective communication with faculty and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on research administration policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with federal and institutional requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for junior-level research coordinators, providing training, mentorship, and support to ensure their success in the role.
  • Collaborate with school management to implement program operations functions, ensuring alignment with university goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in research administration or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of funding agencies, their programs, and relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet-based electronic grants management systems.
Benefits
