Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an individual contributor responsible for overseeing quality assurance and preparing thorough evaluations related to daily incidents or significant planned or unplanned occurrences. This encompasses technology-related incidents or various events that may impact the bank's operations and employee safety, including civil, political, economic, and natural disruptions.
  • Evaluate all potential hazards that pose risks and prepare to implement response strategies while coordinating resources to address emergencies and disasters, thereby minimizing risks to personnel, assets, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated response is available for continuous support.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading the formulation of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies; overseeing testing, emergency responses, and recovery efforts. Guide the selection of operational strategies to maintain business continuity within defined recovery time objectives.
  • Directing business recovery initiatives, crisis management, emergency preparedness, contingency planning, and disaster readiness. Serve as a subject matter expert in these areas.
  • Conducting, communicating, and maintaining the business continuity lifecycle and business impact assessments. Identify and evaluate the potential impacts of various disruptions and disaster scenarios.
  • Engaging with line of business committees and executives to report on compliance with business continuity processes, readiness, and exercise outcomes. May manage relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies regarding business continuity matters.
  • Leading high-profile projects through the development, enhancement, and dissemination of continuity processes and standards. Create and deliver training programs on business continuity.
