We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at our Corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to organizational processes and methods. This will involve collecting and analyzing data to support process improvement initiatives, executing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and developing and maintaining process documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collect and analyze data to support process improvement initiatives
  • Execute Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain process documentation to support process improvement
  • Train and mentor staff on new process changes and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are implemented and corporate wide improvements are realized
  • Develop strategies and plans to assure sustainability of improvements
  • Monitor and report progress on projects and performance to senior management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or another Engineering/Technical related discipline
  • Proven experience in process improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement tools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines
Working Conditions

Candidates must be able to efficiently communicate, observe operations facilities and activities, and learn our business from the 'trenches'. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are only required occasionally. Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing computer terminal, and extensive reading.

Up to 50% travel required.
