An established international manufacturer of machine components is actively seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to enhance their operations.
This role is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity on the day shift. Candidates at the entry-level are welcome, as comprehensive training on all machinery and processes will be provided.This position necessitates local travel to client sites to deliver onsite support with products and machinery.
Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Technician Include:
Collaborate with engineering teams on new initiatives and process enhancement projects.
Provide assembly and technical assistance at customer locations within the designated metropolitan area.
Conduct setup, teardown, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, particularly automated welding equipment and robotic systems.
Assist in the implementation of new machinery and modifications to facility layouts.
Gather data regarding production, quality, and project metrics, and prepare documentation for management review.
Ensure a safe and organized working environment.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for the Engineering Technician Include:
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
1-3 years of experience in a technical role, such as engineering technician, process technician, or maintenance technician, preferably with robotics and production machinery.
Strong analytical skills and effective time management abilities.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a diverse work environment.
This position involves work in a manufacturing and warehousing setting.
While performing the duties of this role, you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands to handle or feel parts and equipment.
