h3Job Description/h3pAt Healthy Living Ventures, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Tropical Smoothie Cafe./ppThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, ordering, training, and running the store. They will be responsible for organizing catering and running current promotions efficiently and effectively./ppThe Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimizing profits, and ensuring that guests are completely satisfied with their dining experience./ppThe successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliOversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, including food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, and personnel management./liliAdhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs./liliResponsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service./liliEnsure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances./liliEnforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas./liliWill uphold all ServSafe guidelines./liliEstimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and estimate food and beverage costs./liliMaintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards./liliEnsure positive guest service in all areas, responding to complaints and taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests./liliEnsure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and company assets./liliEnsure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliKnowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel)./liliProficient in restaurant functions, including food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports./liliMust possess a valid driver's license./liliMust be eligible to work in the United States./liliMust agree to background, drug test, and credit check./li/ulpPersonal Requirements:/pulliSelf-discipline, initiative, leadership ability, and outgoing personality./liliPleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance./liliAbility to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards./liliMust be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems./liliMust possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff./li/ulpBenefits:/pulli401(k) and matching./liliDental insurance./liliEmployee discount./liliFlexible schedule./liliHealth insurance./liliPaid time off./liliVision insurance./liliBonus opportunities./li/ul
