Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive contact to prevent social isolation and ensure our members feel connected and supported.
  • Identify member needs and guide them through our standard package of services, including transportation, handyman services, and social engagement.
  • Maintain a list of available resources within and outside our organization to fulfill the standard package of services.
  • Organize schedules and manage appointments for members, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Participate in required Service Navigator training and meetings, which may involve occasional travel to offsite locations.
  • Maintain volunteer backup lists with their skill set and availability, ensuring we have a robust support system in place.
  • Partner with local leaders and businesses to promote our program and provide additional resources to our members.
  • Host and/or present at external organization meetings and conferences to aid program development and growth.
  • Partner with other PIC/CFL staff to share best practices and generate new ideas, driving innovation and excellence in our services.
  • Interact with other program coordinators, managers, and directors to ensure consistency across programs and services.
  • Manage multiple projects and set prioritization schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Database entry, electronic and paper file management, and training others as needed to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Monitor and create reports on member involvement and participation, providing valuable insights for program improvement.
  • Support the operations of the site by fulfilling other duties as assigned, ensuring a seamless and effective service delivery.
  • Adhere to the procedures of PIC/CFL, including health, safety, and anti-discrimination policies, upholding our commitment to excellence and compassion.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • General knowledge of office equipment, including computers, copiers, and other technology.
  • Able to work both independently and in team settings, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of the local area and area businesses, with the ability to build relationships and partnerships.
  • Ability to speak in front of large crowds, with confidence and poise.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion and care.
  • Compassion and empathy, with a genuine passion for supporting and empowering others.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, social work, or related fields is preferred, as is previous recruiting and/or volunteering experience.
