The Job

This role will be responsible for establishing strategies, systems, and tools to build a world-class operation. As a leader, you will drive the talent and career development within the Operational Excellence team, ensuring that current and future leaders can meet the challenges of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire change in the organization, driving the adoption and implementation of validated and emerging strategies to enhance speed, quality, experience, and reliability in processes.
  • Drive Operational Excellence best practices, including daily management, standard work, root-cause defect investigation and mitigation, and effective problem-solving.
  • Own and manage measurement systems and practices used to evaluate operations, focusing on outliers, statistical process control, exceptions, and logical stratification of the business.
  • Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority for Continuous Improvement, benchmarking SCAN's continuous improvement against best practices and new developments across industries.
  • Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority for Workforce and Capacity Planning functions, including ongoing refinement and management of intradiem, short-term, and long-term forecasting plans.
  • Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority on problem and incident management for significant operational capability issues, including compliance, financial, quality, and experience.
  • Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority on quality, regulatory, and control monitoring, management, and improvement, including accountability for operational audit readiness and quality monitoring of transactions and controls.
Requirements
  • Preferred, but not required: Bachelor's degree or comparable combination of education/experience and/or training.
  • 10-15 years of Operational experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Leadership - Skilled to develop others.
  • Business Insight - In-depth understanding of the business.
  • Problem Solving - Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic Mindset - Anticipates future trends and implications accurately.
