Position Summary

As a Canine Care Specialist, your primary duty is to ensure that the dogs in our facility enjoy a safe and engaging environment. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in their play, sleep, and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the well-being of the dogs
  • Facilitating relief walks and transporting dogs as needed
  • Reporting any health or safety concerns regarding the dogs
  • Administering food and medications appropriately
  • Ensuring a clean and hygienic facility
Compensation: $16.00 / hour

Candidate Requirements

To excel as a Canine Care Specialist, you must effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting. Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities are essential. Ideal candidates will be organized and attentive to the details that enhance the experience for our clients.

Additional qualifications include:
  • A genuine passion for animals and comfort in handling dogs of various sizes
  • Flexibility to work a diverse schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Physical capability to lift dogs weighing over 50 lbs, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Access to a smartphone with internet capabilities
