As a Canine Handler, you will partner with a trained Explosive Detection Canine to conduct searches in assigned client sites, including corporate buildings, loading docks, and open areas. You will assist and liaise with clients, security personnel, and law enforcement agencies to execute security protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with a trained Explosive Detection Canine to conduct searches in assigned client sites
  • Assist and liaise with clients, security personnel, and law enforcement agencies to execute security protocols
  • Properly train the Explosive Detection Canine, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Adhere to all regulatory protocols, including the use of required technology
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
  • Minimum of two years in one or more of the following:
    • Service in any military branch
    • Law enforcement role, with a completed accredited Law Enforcement Academy
    • Municipal or federal correctional officer, including attending a full-time accredited LE/Corrections Academy
  • Possess adequate living environment to allow for the proper exercise and training of the canine
  • Access to reliable transportation sufficient to allow the safe transportation of the canine to and from work
