Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at WellStreet Urgent Care. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient check-in, payment collection, and communication with patients via phone and email.
  • Maintain the readiness of the reception area, ensuring a clean and organized environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform various front office duties, including clerical tasks, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Assist the practice manager and other staff as required, providing support for physicians and office operations.
  • Collect and maintain patient and business documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer at least one year of experience in a medical office or emergency room setting.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms throughout the workday.
  • Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
  • Occasional lifting of moderate weight.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust or focus.
