Patient Services Specialist

Location: Central Georgia Cancer Care
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient schedules
- Collect and process patient payments
- Verify patient demographic information
- Prepare and distribute medical records and reports
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Travel: 0%
Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Occasional overtime may be required, and weekend shifts based on location hours and operational needs.
