Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive individual to fill the role of Facilities and Logistics Coordinator. This position encompasses responsibilities related to shipping and receiving, overseeing office and facility operations, performing data entry, and delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and excel in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Efficiently and accurately process incoming shipments.
  • Prepare and dispatch outgoing packages through various carriers.
  • Ensure order accuracy by verifying against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct data entry tasks with precision and timeliness.
  • Assist with additional related duties as necessary.
  • Handle heavy or bulky items weighing up to 50 lbs. independently.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team setting.

Office and Facilities Management:

  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation.
  • Oversee office supplies, inventory management, and procurement processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the office and team members.
  • Coordinate and schedule onsite calibrations, acting as the primary liaison.
  • Address customer inquiries and facilitate communication with laboratory leads.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing packets and related documents.
  • Manage scheduling calendars and monitor compliance for operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Shipping & Receiving and office coordination.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing error-free work.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to meet deadlines.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Compensation: $18-22 per hour
