The Logistics Coordinator role involves monitoring and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments while preparing items for dispatch in accordance with quality and productivity benchmarks.

Your daily tasks may encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Creating the daily shipping schedule.
  • Managing inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Receiving and recording all incoming products.
  • Distributing received materials to the appropriate departments.
  • Preparing all necessary shipping documentation for outgoing freight.
  • Packaging all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Utilizing online shipping systems for UPS and Federal Express.
  • Executing all computer functions required to monitor various aspects of goods.
  • Reporting defective materials or any questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Ensuring an adequate supply of shipping materials is maintained at all times.
  • Keeping the workspace and equipment clean and orderly while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Conducting local deliveries and pickups using a company vehicle.
  • Maintaining a log of company vehicle usage and maintenance schedules.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Professional Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English, following verbal instructions, and performing basic math.
  • Experience with online shipping systems for UPS and Federal Express.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift operation certification is a plus.
  • Local candidates are preferred.

Compensation

$21.00 per hour
