Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual Licensing Coordinator to join our team at National Youth Advocate Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for licensing and retaining quality foster homes, ensuring they meet or exceed community and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Licensing and Retention: Actively support, represent, and extend the mission, vision, and values of the organization by ensuring licensed homes meet or exceed community and organizational needs.
  • Training and Support: Complete all required training in a timely manner and support the development of potential foster parents in understanding the needs of the youth entering foster care.
  • Home Study and Evaluation: Develop comprehensive home studies for each potential family and submit for approval, as well as complete annual evaluations and recertification of all licensed foster homes.
  • Community-Based Services: Travel daily to provide community-based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement: Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement activities on a monthly/quarterly basis and actively participate in the weekly supervision process.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
  • Licensure: A valid professional license as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
  • Other: Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
