Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Oversight: Manage daily operations of the law firm, providing direction and support to attorneys and staff while establishing and enforcing policies.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns that arise.
  • Legal Representation: Conduct strategy sessions with clients, represent them in various legal proceedings, and provide expert legal counsel.
  • Case Management: Oversee a diverse range of family law cases, developing effective strategies and reviewing legal documents.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the firm’s financial reporting, billing, and collections to ensure profitability.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, onboard, and train attorneys and staff, managing performance and professional development.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, developing risk management policies to mitigate legal risks.
  • Administrative Management: Supervise administrative functions, including case management and office operations.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on legal developments and promote continuous education for staff.

Qualifications

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Must be a member in good standing of the state bar.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of family law practice, including management of a legal team and handling complex cases.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, client relations, communication, analytical, organizational skills, and ethical conduct.
