Key Responsibilities

This role involves being the on-site associate responsible for managing cargo claims, safety protocols, and log-related issues through the following tasks:

  • Responding to accident notifications;
  • Contacting after-hours on-call advisors as needed;
  • Coordinating post-accident drug testing;
  • Documenting cargo claims and tracking product resolution;
  • Assisting drivers with log-related inquiries;
  • Making necessary log adjustments;
  • Acting as a liaison with law enforcement agencies;
  • Organizing clean-up operations for diesel and hazardous material spills.
  • This position is not remote.
  • The work schedule consists of a rotating night shift of 4 days on, 4 days off.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education, training, and experience that provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge

Fundamental understanding of the trucking and transportation industry is preferred.

Skills

Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills are essential. Accurate typing at a rate of up to 40 WPM is required. The ability to multitask and maintain a flexible schedule is necessary, with potential weekend work.

Experience, Education, and Training

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business or a related field is preferred; alternatively, one to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This role necessitates the ability to sit and maintain focus and motivation for extended periods. Multitasking between the computer, phone, and various projects is required.

Working Environment

The position is primarily indoors, with temperature control in a general office setting. Call volume may be high at times.

No specific licensing or certification is required.
