Barnes Group is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs (HSE) specialist to lead the HSE program at the Peabody Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the division is in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
