About the Role

As a Mortgage Originator, you'll play a critical role in this process, working closely with clients to understand their needs and guide them through the mortgage application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Loan Origination: Verify and compile application information for mortgage loans, advising clients on their home loan options and reviewing loan application files to ensure completeness and adherence to company standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Use sound judgment to resolve service, credit decision, funding, and post-close issues, exercising independent judgment and initiative to find solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Must have applicable state licensing and two to five years' experience in mortgage origination, with a strong understanding of mortgage products and services.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to problem-solve, exercise independent judgment, and prioritize workload.
  • Professional Development: Must meet one of the following options: actively funding more than 2 loans/month, completion of Xinnix Training for Loan Origination, or assignment of an Origination mentor by branch.
