Job Description

Our client, a reputable company in commercial construction, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Interior Superintendent - Drywall to join their team. As a key member of the construction team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing all facets of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Efficiently coordinate and schedule subcontractors to optimize work sequences and ensure timely completion.
  • Project Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, promptly address issues or delays, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, and communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safety-first culture on-site.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide strong leadership and direction to the construction team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure stringent quality control and adherence to company standards.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Project Documentation: Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative approaches to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in drywall installation and construction project management.
  • Skills: Proficient understanding of carpentry, framing, insulation, wallboard, doors, and hardware, as well as experience utilizing Procore and Bluebeam.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Relocation Options: For the right candidate, relocation guidance is available.
