Job Title: Intervention Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Aide to join our team at Manhattan-Ogden USD 383. As an Intervention Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning environment of our students, helping them master equipment and instructional materials, and providing individualized attention to ensure their academic success.

Job Summary:

The Intervention Aide will work closely with teachers and staff to reinforce materials introduced in the classroom, assist with student supervision during lunch and recess, and help students with their academic work. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds and are passionate about making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce materials introduced by the teacher
  • Help students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher
  • Assist with student supervision during lunch and recess
  • Check notebooks, correct papers, supervise testing, and make-up work assigned by the teacher
  • Read to students and listen to students read, as well as engage in other forms of oral communication with students
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or principal
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to make responsible decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Pass a background check
Benefits:

USD 383 offers a competitive salary range of $11.50-$13.50 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including vision and dental insurance, health insurance, retirement plan options, short-term disability, and an employee assistance program.
