We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our Research Science team at Amazon Robotics. As a key member of our team, you will work on cutting-edge algorithms for robotics, driving innovation and solving real-world challenges. Our team is passionate about applying advanced robotics and software to transform customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new algorithms for computer vision and manipulation in Amazon's robotic warehouses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions
  • Contribute to the development of system prototypes in simulation
  • Work on challenging projects, including resource allocation, autonomous navigation, and product grasping

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or similar field
  • At least two years of relevant academic research experience
  • Fluency in statistical software packages (R, Stata, or Matlab) and programming languages (Java, C++, Python)
  • Superior communication and data presentation skills
