Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager with the overall direction and control of the store
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Monitor sales and profitability, and make recommendations to improve store performance
  • Develop and implement plans to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Recruit, interview, and hire new staff members
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time
