Tenure-track Biology Professor Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our Department of Biology as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in animal physiology. The successful candidate will establish a robust, independent, and externally funded research program, which includes mentorship and advising of undergraduate and graduate students. The Department is invested in supporting research scholars and is committed to creating an inclusive and equitable working environment.
Responsibilities- Establish a research program in vertebrate physiology with a focus on animal physiology
- Teach core lecture and laboratory courses in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology
- Develop an advanced course that contributes to our associated electives
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research and academic pursuits
- PhD in animal physiology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a relevant field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience teaching college-level courses
