We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conflicts Resolution Specialist to join our team at Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. in Florham Park, NJ.

About the Role

">

This is a full-time position responsible for performing conflict searches, obtaining clearance of conflicts, updating the conflict database, processing new client and matter opening requests, and providing support to attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate will have law firm experience in a business intake or conflict capacity and proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conflict Resolution

Generates conflicts reports using the firm's conflicts database and reviews, analyzes, and interprets those reports as part of the conflicts analysis and reporting process and pursuant to the rules of professional conduct.

New Business Intake

Reviews new client and new matter information submitted via the Firm's intake process and confirms that all client/matter information is accurate.

Client Matter Support

Generates new client matter numbers and assists in the maintenance of client and matter data.

Communication

Ensures timely communications are sent to all appropriate parties, i.e., supervisors, coworkers, attorneys, and clients.

Process Improvement

Contributes to process, procedure, and technology improvements to provide optimum customer service and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Limited law firm experience in a business intake or conflict capacity.
  • Experience with 3E, Elite Enterprise accounting system preferred.
  • Motivated, flexible to work extra hours as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize matters and work within time constraints.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of client matters from initial matter intake through notification of matter assignment.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • High school diploma at a minimum.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
