Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on support to individuals in a residential care or home environment.
  • Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with the client's dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Utilize behavior management strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the client's living space.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving is required.
  • Capability to safely lift and transfer clients.
  • Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality is essential.
  • Proficient in assisting with ADLs and monitoring vital signs.
  • Skills in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs.
  • Strong communication and emotional support abilities.
