As a Surgical Technician at Providence Seaside Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team in achieving positive outcomes. This per diem part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work on a day shift, collaborating with a skilled team to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures, providing necessary supplies and equipment.
* Work closely with all members of the surgical team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
* Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe working space for patients and staff.
Requirements:
* Completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp.
* 16 hours of continuing education every two years, or grandfathered based on work experience in an ASC, hospital, or federal government agency between January 1, 2014, and January 1, 2017.
