Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Advantage Dental. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Job Summary:

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing chair-side clinical support to our dentists and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up. You will also be responsible for taking and processing X-Rays as prescribed by the dentist, entering patient treatment plans, and maintaining files. Additionally, you will be expected to complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories, educate patients on the importance of their oral health, and work collaboratively with the team on all areas of the practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists
  • Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the dentist
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
  • Educate patients on the importance of their oral health
  • Work collaboratively with the team on all areas of the practice
Requirements:
  • Completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in our internal training program
  • Radiology certification required
  • Dental assisting experience preferred
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software such as Dentrix, Eagle Soft, or Dental Vision
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience
