Senior AFSIM Analyst

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior AFSIM Analyst to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
About the RoleAs a Senior AFSIM Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and analyzing models and concepts of employment for groundbreaking technologies such as advanced air platforms, strike weapons, and integrated multi-domain effects. You will collaborate with our software development teams to improve our customized tools, design efficient representations for large datasets, and automate production analysis pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate models and concepts of employment for advanced technologies
- Collaborate with software development teams to improve customized tools
- Design efficient representations for large datasets
- Automate production analysis pipelines
- Work with a team of analysts and senior engineers to guide the direction of analysis
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related area
- Demonstrated excellence working with AFSIM performing modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Knowledge in Air or Strike Warfare domains
- Strong scripting and programming skills with languages such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or JAVA
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance
