Key Responsibilities- Operate industrial dishwashing machines to ensure all dishes, glasses, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
- Clean and maintain all trash bins, kitchen equipment, and dining area.
- Deposit kitchen and dish room garbage in dumpsters.
- Keep the dining area clean, free of spills, food, and trash.
- Daily clean the walk-in cooler.
- Maintain a line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through the work area throughout the shift.
- Ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, storage bins, and other equipment.
- Maintain House of Blues safety and sanitation standards.
- Organize and maintain storage of all dishware.
- Ability to keep up with fast-paced high-volume kitchen and restaurant operations.
- Comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring all eating and cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
- Assist other employees as needed.
- Perform all opening and closing duties.
- Availability in the evenings and late nights.
- Industrial dish washing machines knowledge.
- Proper sanitation knowledge.
- Operation of garbage compactor/disposal.
- Kitchen and restaurant operations.
- Restaurant bussing.
- Organization skills.
- Attention to detail.
The working environment is fast-paced, and the position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
