ChaseSource is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our collection team, you will be responsible for collecting monies on behalf of our clients while maintaining compliance and professional office and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collection and Negotiation
Utilize various collection strategies and methodologies to attempt to contact consumers in order to negotiate payment in full or payment arrangements on debt within federal, state and client collection guidelines and laws.
- Account Monitoring and Follow-up
Monitor debtors accounts and follow-up to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
- Skip Tracing and Collection
Utilize various skip tracing techniques and collection strategies to locate right parties in order to collect monies.
- Payment Processing and Resolution
Collect balance or set up an appropriate payment plan.
- Dispute Resolution and Objection Handling
Handle debtor disputes and overcome stalls and objections & suggest money sources for debt payment.
Requirements- Previous Experience
Previous experience in customer service, sales, collections, or a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills
Attain working knowledge of the Client's processes and requirements and be able to communicate this in a professional matter.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Successfully overcoming objections in a short period of time.
- Independence and Productivity
Working independently and productively without close supervision.
- Language and Education
Bilingual in Spanish.
- Computer Skills
Basic computer skills.
- Math and Multi-tasking
Ability to compute basic math calculations.
- Teamwork and Time Management
Ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of Laws and Regulations
Knowledge of FDCPA, HIPAA, state and local collection laws and the ability to be licensed in all states is preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Strong listening skills.
- Time Management and Organization
Ability to efficiently navigate through the CUB's system.
- Professionalism and Adaptability
Well organized in taking and processing payments.
- Customer Service and Communication
Ability to effectively handle calls while maintaining the client's and Firm's standards.
