About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced finance professional to join our team as a Plant Controller at our Seward production facility. As a key member of the plant management team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and guidance to support informed decision-making. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cost accounting and manufacturing environments, with expertise in ERP systems and a strong desire to drive efficiency and improve processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with plant and business leadership to identify and address financial opportunities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth
  • Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Partner with IT to develop and implement reporting and analytics solutions to support business needs
  • Manage and optimize the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including plant management, finance leadership, and external partners


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting and manufacturing environments
  • Expertise in ERP systems and financial analysis
  • Strong business partnering skills and ability to constructively challenge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel as needed, with occasional overtime required
