Cold Chain Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Manager to join our team at National Beef Packing Co., LLC. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our refrigeration system, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of our ammonia refrigeration system, boiler/steam generation system, and plant utilities network
• Lead and manage a team of 18 staff members, including supervisory and hourly personnel
• Develop and implement capital reinvestment plans for refrigeration and boiler systems
• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees and prioritize safety in the department
• Provide training, documentation, support, and follow-up communication to end users
• Other duties as assigned

• 5-10 years of experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems
• 5-10 years of experience working with boilers and related equipment
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) & Risk Management Planning (RMP) programs and compliance
• Experience managing supervisory and hourly staff
• Ability to teach, train, and develop departmental staff
• Experience with maintenance planning & scheduling systems
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical aspects of refrigeration and boiler systems
• Excellent communication skills to work with engineering, operations, and information technology teams
