About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at Betty's Bunch Temporaries, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery. Your primary focus will be on performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems, including pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.


Key Responsibilities
• Ensure production machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, AC/DC motors and controls.
• Read and understand blueprints effectively.
• Assemble, install, and fabricate equipment as needed, with a focus on welding skills.
• Work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives.
• Assist support staff in ensuring inventory counts are accurate.
• Submit timely and accurate paperwork.
• Participate in Safety Reviews, Safety Training, and Safety Audits under the direction of plant management.
• Participate in a maintenance training program provided and required by the company.
• Provide your own tools, with specialty tools provided by the Company.


Qualifications
• 2-3 years of successful electrical troubleshooting and repair experience, with the ability to operate small machinery (lathe, drill press, welding equipment).
• At least one full year of mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to commence and continue specific courses of action with urgency.
• Maintain positive relationships with plant management, supervisors, office, and operational employees.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
• Willingness to work all shifts as business needs dictate.
• Willingness to fully cross-train in other technical areas of maintenance.
• Proven experience demonstrating dependability and timeliness with assignments, tasks, and responsibilities.
• A history of excellent attendance is essential.
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


Education
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate's degree in an electrical field is preferred but not required.
