Job Summary

As a Masters Level Therapist at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide high-quality mental health services to consumers, including assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and Mental Status Exams to identify clinical needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed, including assessment and referral for high-risk situations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and outcomes, and document all contacts and interactions with clients.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify and address special or high-risk issues, and provide consultation and referral as necessary.
  • Manage a caseload and work schedule to meet departmental productivity standards and maintain a balance of professional standards of practice and quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of recent, continuous experience as a psychotherapist, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Masters degree in a behavioral science, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Washington) or Mental Health Counselor License (Washington) required at hire.
  • Ability to assess special or high-risk situations and provide effective crisis intervention and consultation services.
  • Proficiency in treatment models appropriate to specialized populations, such as children and adolescents.
