Job Summary

The University of New Mexico - Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual RN to join our team. As a Clinical Nursing Professional, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, promoting a positive work environment and quality patient care.

About the Role

This role requires 1 year of directly related experience and is open to both experienced and new nurses looking to grow in their career. You will be responsible for delivering safe direct care to an assigned group of patients, working within hospitals policies and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
  • Work within hospitals policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities of new personnel

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year directly related experience
  • RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement by NM
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification

Physical Conditions

This role involves heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds constantly to move objects or people.

Working Conditions

You will work in a hospital setting, with potential exposure to chemicals, biohazardous materials, and require personal protective equipment.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development.
