Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a member of our ICU - SRMC team, you will work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients. You will also provide clinical leadership for other staff and assume relief charge duties when designated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ICU, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in critical care nursing and hold a current RN license in New Mexico or a reciprocal agreement state. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a fast-paced hospital environment, with frequent exposure to biohazardous materials. You will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety.
