As a Commercial Food Service Repair Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Inspect commercial kitchen equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation and identify potential issues.
- Communicate with customers and branch staff regarding the status of repairs to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated.
- Complete service tickets according to established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Track truck stock to ensure necessary parts are stocked on the vehicle to minimize delays.
- Sustain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms to Tech-24 standards to ensure a professional image.
- Set a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of related experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance.
- Superb customer service skills to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Standard computer skills to effectively manage service tickets and communicate with customers.
- Own industry-standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region to service customers.
- Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department.
- Mechanically inclined with a hunger to learn new techniques and approaches.
- Previous experience as a commercial technician is preferred.
- On-demand training and full troubleshooting support to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
