Medical Records Coordinator

At destinationone Consulting, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and accessibility of patient records within a healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately and efficiently organize and file patient medical records.
- Retrieve and process requests for patient information from healthcare providers and authorized personnel.
- Input and update patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure the accuracy of data entry to maintain high-quality patient records.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Participate in audits to ensure records meet legal and regulatory standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in medical records or a healthcare administrative role is a plus.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
