Role Summary:
The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the community in a manner that promotes resident satisfaction and aligns with the company's objectives. This role requires effective leadership and a proactive approach to managing resident relations and property performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Engagement:
Ensure a seamless resident experience from move-in to move-out, addressing concerns promptly and effectively. Organize resident events and retention initiatives to foster community spirit. - Financial Oversight:
Maintain a thorough understanding of the community's financial status by reviewing budgets and performance metrics. Drive revenue growth through effective marketing and leasing strategies. - Team Leadership:
Inspire and guide team members to achieve high performance. Conduct regular training and provide constructive feedback to enhance team capabilities. - Compliance and Standards:
Ensure adherence to all property management regulations and company policies. Conduct regular assessments to maintain compliance with Fair Housing and other relevant laws.
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience in property management
• 2+ years in a community management role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment:
This position involves regular interaction with residents and staff, requiring a professional demeanor and a commitment to safety and operational protocols.
