Job Summary

The selected psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adults admitted to our 24-bed unit. With our average length of stay at 10 days and a consistently high occupancy rate, the successful candidate can anticipate a stimulating and rewarding caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs and goals.
  • Provide medication management and psychotherapy as indicated, in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of a residency in Psychiatry; board certification preferred.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients.
