RiverVista Health and Wellness is currently recruiting PRN Behavioral Health Specialists for our hospital located in Colombus, OH.

About the Role

The Behavioral Health Specialist performs evaluations and admissions in conjunction with an on-call physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate responses to requests for services, including initial assessments and referrals.
  • Conduct initial evaluations, document patient symptomology, and provide information to MD for level of care determination.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in social work or counseling is required.
  • Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility working with adult and geriatric patients is preferred.
  • A current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license is required. RN license may be accepted.
