Key Responsibilities

  • Process accurate and error-free written correspondence in medical records;">
  • File medical records and documents with precision and attention to detail;">
  • Assist with sick call and obtain vital signs as required by clinical staff;">
  • Conduct laboratory tests, such as phlebotomy, and perform audiometric and visual testing;">
  • Perform EKGs and other duties as assigned by clinical staff;">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • A minimum of one year's experience as a Medical Assistant;">
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from the state of Connecticut;">
  • A completed course of study in Medical Assisting;">
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification;">
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;">
