Regional Sales Executive

We are collaborating with a prominent agricultural implement manufacturer to identify a Regional Sales Executive responsible for the Texas and Louisiana markets. This is a well-established territory with existing clientele, and the organization is focused on growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

The Regional Sales Executive will oversee all sales activities within the designated area. Responsibilities include coordinating dealer training sessions and resolving customer service and warranty inquiries. A significant aspect of this role involves expanding the company's market presence by acquiring new customers. Effective communication with clients and internal departments is crucial.

Primary Duties:
  • Formulate and implement a sales strategy to promote the company's offerings within the assigned region.
  • Travel extensively to support and grow the existing customer base while actively seeking new clients.
  • Expect to have 3-4 overnight trips each week.
  • Assist dealers in executing company initiatives.
  • Conduct accurate inventory assessments at dealer locations.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payment arrangements at the dealer level.
  • Act as the main point of contact for dealers regarding service needs and warranty claims.
  • Participate in community marketing events organized by dealers in the territory.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance dealers' product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Respond promptly to all dealer and corporate communications.
Educational Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Candidates with an associate's degree and relevant experience may substitute their work history and on-the-job training for educational qualifications.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Self-driven with a solid understanding of the agricultural sector in Texas and Louisiana.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and dealership staff.
  • A positive and energetic demeanor with the capacity to inspire and lead in a collaborative environment.
  • A clean driving record is essential.
