Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist for a new opportunity with our client located in the Burlington, NC area. The Inventory Specialist will assist with inventory and purchasing administrative tasks

Pay Rate: $18/hour (Depending on work experience)
Job Type: Full-time Temp to Hire
Work Hours: Summer 7:00 am -4:00 pm | Winter 8:00 am -5:00 pm

Responsibilities
Administrative tasks including but not limited to:

  • Purchasing by using our inventory management software to maintain optimal stock level.
  • Daily receipt and organization of inventory receiving paperwork from vendors and the upkeep of the computer filing system. Review paperwork for any error and make a report. Follow up with revised paperwork until the issues are resolved.
  • Enter receiving in our inventory management software system and review back orders.
  • Inventory control by using our Inventory software.
  • Supports warehouse inventory physical count, researching discrepancies, reviewing receiving and shipping documents. Analyze if those documents match inventory management software input.
  • Administrative work when needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate computer skills are necessary. Strong excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, TABLES, Formulas, Sort and Filter, Conditional Formatting etc.) are needed. Computer file management skills and document organization skills are required.

To be eligible, you should have one year of inventory control software use experience.
