Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager will oversee all sales activities within the assigned area. Responsibilities include coordinating dealer training sessions and addressing customer service and warranty concerns. Primary Duties:
- Formulate and implement a sales strategy to promote the company's offerings within the designated territory.
- Travel extensively throughout the week to support and enhance the existing customer base while pursuing new business opportunities.
- Anticipate 3-4 overnight trips weekly.
- Assist dealers in executing company initiatives.
- Conduct and report precise inventory assessments at dealer locations.
- Manage accounts receivable and payment arrangements at the dealer level.
- Act as the main point of contact for dealers to resolve service needs and warranty matters.
- Participate in dealer community marketing events within the territory.
- Facilitate training sessions to improve dealers' product knowledge, program comprehension, and sales capabilities.
- Respond promptly to all dealer and corporate communications.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Candidates with an associate's degree and relevant experience may substitute their work history and on-the-job training for educational requirements.
- Self-driven with a solid understanding of the agricultural sector in Texas and Louisiana.
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and telephone communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and dealership staff.
- A positive and energetic demeanor with the capacity to motivate and lead in a team setting.
- A clean driving record is mandatory.
