Position Overview
  • This role entails comprehensive financial reporting for various departments, including Health Information Management and Clinical Engineering.
  • A solid grasp of accounting principles is essential for success in this position.
  • Familiarity with procurement and accounts payable systems will be advantageous.
  • The Accountant II will play a crucial role in financial reporting, budget formulation, and reconciliation, while also supporting the development of costing processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare month-end journal entries for the general ledger in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Create accessible financial reports for management to assess the organization's financial health.
  • Oversee the maintenance of financial dashboards for various departments.
  • Propose operational enhancements based on financial analysis.
  • Document maintenance activities related to financial management systems.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • Assist the Corporate Financial Reporting Group with month-end closing activities and maintain documentation for financial management systems.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Reporting Department to ensure data accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Responsible for data mapping from various systems to financial management platforms in accordance with established accounting standards.
  • Perform System Administrator duties for financial management software.
  • Conduct monthly and annual costing activities for relevant departments and participate in projects for new application implementations.
  • Provide support and training to end-users as needed.
