Senior Financial Analyst

Meriton, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in analyzing economic and financial data, portfolio company financial reporting, and complex financial analyses related to company valuations, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, and cash flow models.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer with an analytical framework for key business decisions
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial reports and financial presentations to senior management, the Board of Directors, and Meriton members
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and complex financial modeling to support the company's strategic initiatives, including valuations, capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts
  • Perform in-depth analysis of monthly financial data, evaluating KPIs and business metrics, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to business leaders and senior management that drive process improvement initiatives that will positively impact business performance
  • Participate in due diligence processes for potential mergers and acquisitions
  • Track monthly bookings data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to predict future cash collection cycle for the Meriton portfolio companies
  • Assist in the preparation of ASC 805 analyses for financial reporting purposes
  • Establish a working relationship with business partners to provide counsel and analysis to assist meeting established financial goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, mathematics, or a similar field
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a financial analyst role, valuation, investment banking, or underwriting
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of the concept and application of discounted cash flow analysis
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Naturally curious and have a strong desire to develop analytical and predictive models to support business needs and make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with portfolio company leaders, business unit controllers, and peers
